The functionality of a contract lifecycle management application can include the delivery and tracking of contracts to buyers, capturing critical contract details, and integrating data into other sales applications, as well as e-signature functionality. These applications integrate late-stage sales activities with post-sale insights to increase account knowledge and improve a sales rep’s ability to support the customer lifecycle. These applications provide sales organizations with greater visibility into how a buyer is managing the contract review process through real-time revision tracking, alerts when contracts are shared with other decisionmakers, and an ability to negotiate changes through digital collaboration. Upon contract agreement, e-signature capabilities allow buyers to approve finalize contracts within the digital environment, saving valuable selling time.
